AutoCorrect Plus is a keyboard utility that helps users fix 
typing mistakes on the fly and improve their typing in almost 
all Windows 95/98/NT applications.

Use AutoCorrect Plus to:

* Correct typographical errors on the fly.  AutoCorrect Plus 
provides a mechanism for automatically correcting typographical 
or misspelling errors as a user types, without having to run 
SpellCheck for those errors.  AutoCorrect Plus corrects common 
errors such as TWo INitial CAps, lowercasing of days of the 
week (monday, etc), first letter capitalization of sentences, 
and accidental cAPS LOCK being held down.  This feature 
includes a default list of common typing errors and a dialog 
interface that allows a user to add personal typing or spelling 
errors and their corresponding automatic corrections.

* Replace boilerplate text with a text shortcut for fast typing.  
A user can assign frequently used phrases, paragraphs, e-mail 
addresses... for short abbreviations (text shortcuts) and then 
whenever he/she wants to type the original text, he/she just 
types in the assigned shortcut and AutoCorrect Plus immediately 
replaces it with the complete, expanded text.  The replaced text 
can be as long as 4096 characters, and even can contain control 
characters such as <ENTER> or <TAB>.

* Type extended characters which are not available directly on 
US keyboards such as ©, ®, À, Ç... AutoCorrect Plus substituted 
complex Alt key combinations with simpler, more intuitive and 
easy-to-remember shortcuts, for example A`` for À, C,, for Ç, 
(c) for © or O^^ for Ô... Of course, a user can change these 
preset shortcuts to whatever he/she wants or is familiar with.

Other features include:
* Fast downloading because of its small size.  It is a very 
  simple and easy-to-use utility.
* Smoothly working with almost all Windows 95/98/NT applications.
  Thus AutoCorrect Plus provides users a consistent error 
  correcting and text replacing mode regardless of what 
  application they work with, not only in large word processors 
  but also in simple text editors, e-mail or diary applications.
* Adding, removing or modifying assignments easily.  The entries
  can be imported from a tab-separated 2-column ASCII text file. 
* Hotkey for temporarily turning on/off its activity.
* Hotkey for undoing unwanted replacements.
